My husband Alan got retested for the mycolplasma infection (using the bioenergetic testing) and this time he came up NORMAL!!! YEAH!!!! Celebration time!

We cannot attribute it to anything other than the Pau d'Arco tea so anyone diagnosed with "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome” or "Myalgic Encephalomyletis" as it is officially known, should definitely give this a try. In Alan's case, it took 6 months on the tea and he drank 4-6 cups per day.

We still drink 2 cups per day as a tonic and to keep any bugs at bay and we now use 1 cup of bark per gallon of water and boil for 25 minutes (you get 4 batches per bag this way), and of course, we then use the bark from the 4 used batches to make another batch - boiling the tea for an hour this time.

Also of interest, Alan has always had a "nervous stomach" - I'm talking 35 years at least - and it is now totally gone! Obviously it was some kind of bug that the doctors never figured out.More cause for celebration!

I thought I would update you on how we are doing on the Pau d'arco tea and add some more news .

First, I want you to know that my husband's health continues to improve and we are hopeful that the Pau d'arco tea is the "missing link" we were looking for and that eventually he will be cured. As I may have mentioned before, we have been using Olive Leaf Extract with some success but it only seems to keep his condition stable versus curing him. While the Olive Leaf Extract is very potent for many problems, we think the Pau d'arco tea is even more potent and are very pleased with the results to date.

In addition to my husband using the tea for his Myalgic Encephalomyletis (caused by a mycoplasma infection) we have been using the tea with great success in fighting off colds, the flu and a severe throat and ear infection this winter. All we have to do is bump up our tea intake (and for the ear and throat infection use peroxide drops in the ear) and we are very quickly over whatever we are getting and never really get sick (which is great because everyone around us has been very ill this winter and for weeks on end!). Usually, because of my MS, I can get quite ill if I catch something, but now I have great confidence that the tea with put things right quickly. And, when combined with the Olive Leaf Extract, I think we have a very powerful healing tool if (or is that when?) the flu pandemic strikes.

I thought I should also let you know that we have been experimenting - we make a full batch (4 liters) of tea every day - and have come up with a "recipe" for a very potent Pau d'arco tea that is still very drinkable. We follow the basic directions of 3 tablespoons of loose tea per liter (or quart, if preferred) of water and then slowly bring to a boil. We then gently boil for 25 minutes and when the timer goes off turn off the stove but leave the pot on the burner to cool down slowly. This produces just over 3 liters of a great, potent tea - we do not add any additional water to replace the water lost in the boiling. Once decanted, we take the leftover tea fines and save until we have 4 batches. We then boil up the 4 previously used batches of tea with 4 liters of water and, instead of 25 minutes, boil them for 30 minutes or longer to get another batch of tea. We don't need to add any "new" tea using this method. - Jo-Ann

I must share my story for those searching for inspiration while suffering from cancer. My grandmother at age 45 was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer, an estimated four months to live. I am writing to tell of my success story with pau d'arco.

On November 03,2004 I had lunch in the early afternoon. About a few hours after I started to get a constant headache that lasted till the next day and during the night, I got a strange sensation going down my left leg. After that occurrence, I noticed that the feeling in my left leg (if I touch a cold object)was different from my right leg and I could no longer run but could walk as normal. I went to my doctor but he could not figure out what it could be. This situation continued and two other strange symptoms developed the following year.

In July 2005, I got a headache similar to the one I got in November 2004 but it lasted for about a week and then stopped. Then one day I got up from sleeping and realized I was seeing double. I went to see an optician. After she checked my eyes she said I should go and see my doctor right away. I went straight away to& my doctor and he sent me to see an ophthalmologist. The ophthalmologist checked my eyes out and did not see any thing wrong. I went back to my doctor and this time he sent me to get a cat scan of my brain. The results of the cat scan showed nothing wrong. My doctor then sent me to see a neurologist.

The neurologist checked me out but could not determine what was wrong so he recommended getting an MRI of my brain. I didn't go because I had a cat scan that showed nothing was wrong in my brain so I didn't want to waste money on a MRI. The double vision eventually cleared up.

Then a month later the double vision came back and I started getting migraines too(I never had migraines before). Soon after I got mild strokes on my left side till eventually on December 18, 2005 I got a full stroke on my left side and was hospitalized. The hospital sent me to get the MRI and the results showed I had a brain tumor (glioma). It was inoperable.

I started taking 4mg tablets of dexamethasone four times a day starting January 2006. To my surprise it caused so many side effects after just four months (acne, rash in my back, weight gain, joint pain, muscle weakness in my legs) and worse yet, it can induce diabetes. I wanted to discontinue using dexamethasone and use a herbal alternative. I did some research on the internet and came across six products (including pau d'arco), having good and bad reviews. I came across the herb-care website and read up on pau d'arco and the testimonials. I decided I would try it.

I started taking pau d'arco in May 2006. I took 4 cups a day for 6 months, 3 cups a day for 4 months, 2 cups a day for 2 month and I am now presently taking 1 cup a day. Because of the progress I was making the neurologist sent me to get another MRI brain scan in August 2007. The results were unbelievable. The tumor has REDUCED!! and significantly.

I had my blood test today, and the result was amazing. I was so happy. Now I have been drinking the tea since 5/23/07, I am seeing results in various aspect. I had even started my boss to drink this since he was just amazed with how I was doing through my treatment. I know sickness can be influenced by mind over matters, but, I know there are some such taheebo tea and other herbal method that we can purify our body and be good for it as well. I have an interesting tid bit to share. When I was working as a caretaker on an Estate in Northern California, the family had horses I was to care for as well. One of the horse kept having strange episodes where it would wander around in circles as if dazed and run into things causing small injuries to her face and head area. The family went to great expense with vets and eventually having the horse shipped to UC Davis veterinary scholl . They also ran extensive testing with no results. The family a grown daught (Barbarba) who was very much into herbs and natural foods and she suggested we try pau d'arco and brought me a big bag of the tea leaves or bark. After bringing the horse home I began making her pau'd arco tea every morning, mixing it ( bark and all) into some bran to make a bran mash ( sort of like oat meal for horses) She ate it up happily and NEVER had another single episode as before. I found it amazing! The vets had decided that the problem was either a virus or parasite in the horses brain. It was kind of funny, our local vet thought I was crazy and the Vets from UC Davis said " Hey, what ever works"

But regardless.. it still worked!

"I thought you'd like to hear another success story about Pau D'arco tea. My son Gary's wife Beth has a lot of health problems and was recently diagnosed with cysts on her one remaining ovary. She started taking the Pau D'arco tea and after 3 months went back to the doctor and asked to take the ultra sound over again. The doctor told her there was no sense doing that because nothing would have changed. Beth insisted saying she'd been trying something and wanted to see if it had worked. "I have three great new uses for Pau d'arco tea that may help some of your customers.

Pau d'arco works wonders on Rosacea! My mother suffers from Rosacea on her cheeks and nose and instead of using the strong antibiotic cream the doctor gave her I had her spray her face with a fine mist of Pau d'arco (same strength we drink) and then use Derma Med Rosaderm cream. You wouldn't believe the results! Mom is just thrilled as there is absolutely NO sign of the Rosacea after only a week of using the Pau d'arco - truly amazing. The strong antibiotic cream the doctor prescribed didn't work nearly as well and can, we understand, lead to antibiotic resistant Rosacea and a worsening of the condition.

For another great use, I usually have a severe reaction to Black fly bites. I got 2 bites last week and splashed them several times a day with some Pau d'arco tea. Not only did it take the itch away - and keep it away - but the swelling was minimal and they healed much faster than normal! I'm sure it will work as well on mosquito bites, etc.

Finally, we decided to try the Pau d'arco leftover fines for our veggie garden transplants and it is doing a great job. We don't have any mold or fungus and the transplants are growing beautifully. "

Got the stevia this morning and I'm using it in my coffee. It is excellent and has little or no aftertaste, which is exactly what I was looking for - and the price was good.

I was diagnosed as diabetic about 2 months ago and have been using Splenda, but am glad to be off it (tastes like sugar, but not sure if there could be problems with it).

My older sister used to be a "Sunrider" (Chinese herbs and supplements) distributor about 15-20 years ago and they had liquid stevia, called Suncare - but, it had a real aftertaste like licorice, which was not very good in cofffee.
